Log Files
Balanced Breeze Financial follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. We treat this information as personal data. We do not use it to identify individual visitors, and we do not combine it with other information about you. The purpose of the information is for administering and securing the site, and — through the analytics services named below — for understanding which pages are read, how people arrive, and which parts of the site are working.
Cookies
We use two measurement tools — Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity — and both set cookies in your browser. Google Analytics sets cookies beginning _ga, which distinguish one visitor from another so that a person who reads three pages is not counted as three people. Microsoft Clarity sets cookies beginning _cl, which tie the parts of a single visit together. We use advertising pixels on select pages to measure which ads lead to a booking. Global Privacy Control switches them off.
If you are in the UK, the EEA or Switzerland, neither tool stores anything on your device. Google determines this from your IP address, and Clarity is not loaded for you at all.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an instruction to stop. Nothing is stored, and Clarity is not loaded. Several browsers and extensions send this signal; if yours does, you do not need to do anything else.
In both of those cases Google Analytics still receives an anonymous signal that a page was viewed, but with no identifier and nothing written to your device.
The scheduling calendar embedded on our contact page is provided by Calendly, which sets its own cookies and displays its own cookie notice inside the calendar. Those cookies are governed by Calendly's privacy policy rather than ours.
You can choose to disable cookies through your individual browser options. To know more detailed information about cookie management with specific web browsers, it can be found at the browsers' respective websites.
Third-Party Services
We use a small number of third-party services to run this website and our business. Each receives only what it needs in order to do its job, and each has its own privacy policy governing what it does with that information:
- Vercel hosts this website. Its servers handle every request and keep the standard access logs described above.
- Cloudinary delivers the photographs and images on this site. Because those images load directly from its servers, Cloudinary receives your IP address and browser information whenever you view a page that contains one.
- Calendly provides the scheduling calendar on our contact page. If you book a call, Calendly collects the name, email address and answers you give it.
- MailerLite manages our mailing list. If you subscribe, we pass your email address to MailerLite so that we can send you what you signed up for. Your browser does not contact MailerLite directly.
- Anchor processes membership payments. Your billing details are handled by Anchor and are not stored by us.
- Google Analytics tells us how many people visit, which pages they read and roughly where they arrived from. It receives your IP address, which Google shortens before storing.
- Meta measures which of our ads lead to a booking. On the pages that carry its pixel, it receives your IP address and browser information, and sets a cookie so that a click on an ad and a booking can be recognised as the same visit.
- Microsoft Clarity produces heatmaps and anonymised recordings of how pages are used — where people scroll and what they click. It records interaction with the page, not who you are.
We do not sell your information, and we do not run advertising on this website. Google Analytics is present for measurement only: its advertising features are switched off, and nothing collected here is used to build an advertising profile of you.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to other websites, including those operated by the services listed above. We encourage you to review their policies for more detail on their own practices and on how to opt out of anything you would rather not take part in.
Children's Information
Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.
Balanced Breeze Financial does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
Online Privacy Policy Only
Our Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for visitors to our website with regards to the information that they shared and/or collect in Balanced Breeze Financial. This policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via channels other than this website.
Consent
By using our website, you hereby consent to our Privacy Policy and agree to its terms.
