She began her career as a birth doula—work that demanded presence, trust, and steady decision-making under pressure. Over time, she returned to her accounting roots, drawn back to the clarity and stability that well-built financial systems provide. That background shapes how she works today: she sees the ledger not as paperwork, but as a practical tool for steering a business with intention.

    Garrett Stowe is an operational strategist defined by a 14-year tenure of building, scaling, and stabilizing owner-led businesses. He specializes in the transition from founder-dependent effort to systemic independence—architecting the infrastructure that allows a firm to grow without sacrificing the owner’s vitality or the brand's reputation.

    His approach is rooted in operational realism. Having founded and operated multiple ventures spanning luxury services, e-commerce, & insurance consulting, Garrett understands that a system is only as durable as its weakest link. He oversees the intersection of financial strategy, team leadership, and execution—ensuring that the firm’s standards are maintained even as the client roster expands.

    Outside the firm, Garrett’s work is a reflection of his own pursuit of freedom and intentionality. Whether navigating a backcountry trail or a botanic garden, he values the clarity found in a deliberate pace of life. He believes operational excellence is the prerequisite for freedom—building these structures to ensure the business remains a tool for a life well-lived, rather than the center of it.

While she brings strong technical knowledge to her work, what really stands out is her upbeat personality and how grounded and reliable she is in the day-to-day.

    When she’s not in the books, you’ll usually find Sara at a concert with her best friend or at home unwinding with her cats. She brings that same down-to-earth energy to our clients, helping make the financial side of business feel more manageable and a lot less stressful.

    Aubrey Armes brings her signature blend of precision and people skills to the Balanced Breeze Bookkeeping team. With a background in business coaching, operations, human resources, and leadership, Aubrey has managed everything from business performance metrics to payroll for small businesses. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Management and Human Resources, and is currently completing her bookkeeping certification.

    A nomad in search of sunshine, Aubrey brings meticulous attention to detail and gets dopamine highs when books balance perfectly. When she’s not reconciling accounts, she’s likely playing pickleball or whipping up a batch of gluten-free banana bread. She’s got a soft spot for business owners, believes financial clarity is a radical act of self-care, and would absolutely color-code your chart of accounts if the software let her!
