You Don’t Have to Have It All Figured Out: A Bookkeeper Who Gets Service Businesses

Let’s be real: most business owners don’t start their business because they love Balance Sheets and Cash Flow Statements.

You’re in it because you’re great at what you do—coaching, consulting, designing, supporting, creating, etc. But when it comes to tracking income, staying on top of expenses, or even knowing if you’re profitable? That’s where things start to feel murky.

And if that sounds familiar, I want to tell you something I’ve said to so many clients over the years:

It’s okay to not have it all figured out. That’s what I’m here for.

The “Messy Middle” Is More Normal Than You Think

I’ve worked with coaches, consultants, doulas, therapists, creatives, agency owners, tech businesses, realtors, and more. What I can tell you is that nearly every one of them has shared some version of, “I don’t think I’m doing this correctly.”

Finances can feel like unfamiliar territory. And it’s easy to assume that other business owners have it all together.

Spoiler: most don’t.

The truth is, there are so many service providers out there doing incredible work… but behind the scenes, their books are either messy, nonexistent, or too confusing to actually use. And if that’s where you’re at, you’re not behind—you just haven’t had the right support yet.

A Bit About Me

Jennie Stowe, Founder

I’ve always loved helping people bring order and clarity to the chaos. I discovered my love for accounting in my mid-teens (yes, really). Then after pursuing my other passion as a doula, I founded Balance Breeze Financial — a business that’s now helped dozens of service providers find peace, confidence, and even joy in their numbers.

I know how isolating it can feel to run a business, and how much pressure there is to “figure it out” on your own. I also understand how easy it is to avoid your books when they feel messy or overwhelming.

That’s where I come in.

What It’s Like to Work Together

Whether you’re just starting to track income and expenses or you’ve been in business for years and want to clean things up, I meet you where you are.

When we work together, you’re not just handed reports at the end of the month—you get a real partner. We meet regularly to review your books and discuss what’s working and where some tweaks or adjustments might be needed. In that process we discover how your numbers actually connect to the goals you care about.

You’ll start to feel in control of your business money, even if you never thought of yourself as a “numbers person.”

No shame. No judgement. No jargon. Just calm, clear support.

You Deserve Financial Clarity

There’s a moment I love in nearly every client relationship—it’s the moment they realize that they can take control of their finances.

When you can finally look at your numbers and know what’s going on, decision-making gets easier. Planning becomes realistic. And that low-key stress you’ve been carrying around? It starts to disappear.

You deserve that kind of clarity—without having to learn QuickBooks inside and out or pretend to enjoy spreadsheets.
